Stefan Haller, MD, DTM&H, a longtime physician and diagnostic imager, is the Executive Director of Life Matters International (LMI) holding degrees in Diagnostic Imaging from the American Board of Radiology and in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene from the University of London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. At LMI, he oversees knowledge transfer based healthcare projects in Low/ Middle Income Countries (LMIC). Having served in many different healthcare systems in various countries around the world in primary care and later as a radiologist and department chair, he now dedicates his time almost exclusively to global health focusing on augmenting primary care in developing nations. His passion is in equitable care for women, especially mothers, the quest for universal healthcare and the UN 2030 sustainable development goals for health.
