I am Director of Obstetric Imaging and Associate Professor at Boston's Beth Israel Medical Center/Harvard Medical School and a specialist in high-risk pregnancy. With a medical degree from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria (1986), I did my ObGyn training in Nigeria before training in London, UK, under ultrasound pioneer Professor Stuart Campbell.
In 1999, I relocated to the US, where I completed an OBGYN residency at Georgetown University Hospital and fellowship training in Maternal Fetal Medicine at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School/Rutgers University. My expertise focuses on prenatal ultrasound and pregnancy-related bleeding/placental disorders. I am internationally known as a leading expert on placental disorders, especially vasa previa, placenta previa and placental abruption, and contribute to prominent obstetrics and ultrasound journals and textbooks.
