Martin Prieto, Senior Scientist at Stanford University, is a founding member of the ultrasound neuromodulation community at Stanford and a pioneer in using the techniques of electrophysiology and ion channel biophysics to investigate the molecular mechanisms of ultrasound neuromodulation. He received a PhD in Neuroscience from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. His work on ultrasound neuromodulation was recognized by the Paul Cranefiled award from the Society of General Physiologists.
