Lawrence Haines is an Emergency Physician at Maimonides Medical Center and an Assistant Professor at SUNY Downstate. He is the Director of the Emergency Ultrasound Division that educates fellows, resident and medical students in the use of point-of-care ultrasound in the Emergency Department. Ultrasound guided regional anesthesia is a passion of his and his divsion puts on an annual, one-day conference called, "BLOCK CAMP," that is targeted to Emergency Physicians who wants incorporate nerve blocks into their practice.
