Anusha Singh, BS in Neuroscience, is a third-year medical student at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. She serves as the president of the Plastic and Reconstructive Ultrasound organization at her institution and is actively involved in research exploring the intersection of ultrasound and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Beyond medicine, Anusha is a dedicated advocate for health equity. She is starring in the MSNBC documentary *Periodical* for her grassroots efforts in menstrual equity. She led successful campaigns to repeal tampon taxes in Ohio and Michigan and secured $5 million to provide free period products in all Ohio schools—establishing the largest publicly funded period program in the nation. Additionally, she is a Copello Fellow with Doctors for America, continuing her commitment to policy-driven advocacy.
