Rachael Sampson, MD

Dr. Rachael Sampson MD, MHA, FACOG is the third-year Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellow with the Central New York Regional Perinatal Program at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. Dr. Sampson completed her residency at New York Medical College with the Regional Perinatal Program for Westchester Medical Center’s Maria Fareri Children's Hospital and New York City’s Metropolitan Hospital in East Harlem. Following residency training, she practiced General Obstetrics & Gynecology in Philadelphia for seven years. Inspired by her robust clinical experience working closely with the high-risk obstetric service line and newborn care, Dr. Sampson continues to seek to build upon her strong foundation in women’s healthcare as an OB/GYN provider and to evolve as a leader in maternal-child health. Her research interests include hypertensive disorders in pregnancy, health system improvement, and everything ultrasound.
