Sophia Fornbacher is currently the emergency medicine clinical ultrasound fellow at Riverside Community Hospital in Southern California. She has a passion for the clinical utility and diverse applications of ultrasound technology. Sophia appreciates ultrasound for its role in global health and pre-hospital care, thanks to advancements in technology and the portability of handheld devices. Dedicated to improving patient outcomes, Sophia is committed to making healthcare more accessible and efficient, with a particular interest in the role of ultrasound in resource-limited and critical access sites. Additionally, she takes great pride in teaching residents and fellow medical providers, sharing her knowledge and expertise to advance the use of point-of-care ultrasound in clinical settings.
