Monicka Felix MD MPH regards herself as a lifelong learner. She graduated with honors from Ross University School of Medicine in 2015. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Oak Hill Hospital, where she stayed on as teaching faculty and progressing to an associate program director. She is a strong champion for POCUS in clincal settings. First understanding its utility as a second year resident, she has advocated for an ultrasound curriculum since 2017. Dr Felix has finally and successfully implemented this curriculum in 2023, with set goals and objectives for trainees at Oak Hill Hospital. She is now doing the same as a program director in a sister facilty, Trinity Hospital.
