Emily is a MFM Fellow at Stony Brook University on Long Island, NY. Emily, originally from Florida, recieved her bachelors of science from the University of Florida and her doctorate of medicine (MD) from the Florida State University College of Medicine. She then completed her OBGYN residency at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies in Orlando, Florida. Emily's research interests include opioid use disorder in pregnancy, impacts of social determinates of health on pregnancy, placenta accreta spectrum, and diabetes in pregnancy. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her dogs, hiking, and traveling.
