Larry Mo, PhD

Larry Mo, PhD, has been an independent consultant since 2020 and has served as Chief Imaging Scientist at YorLabs since 2022. He started his ultrasound career at GE Ultrasound, working as a Senior Physicist on the LOGIQ leadership product for about 10 years, including a six-month assignment in Japan. Larry then joined a Berkeley Wi-Fi chip startup for a year before spending nine years as Senior Scientist at Zonare, an ultrasound startup. After Silicon Valley, he rejoined GE as manager of the ultrasound lab at GE Research in NY, leading the global ultrasound research portfolio, including those in Shanghai and Bangalore. Later, he served as Principal Scientist, supporting GE's activities and fostering industry-academia collaborations. Larry is passionate about leveraging his experience, connections and diverse perspectives to support ultrasound innovations.
