Aparajita Sohoni, MS, MD (she/her/hers)

Aparajita (Apa) Sohoni completed undergraduate (Human Biology), master's (Biology), and medical school at Stanford University. She subsequently did residency in Emergency Medicine at Highland Hospital in Oakland, where she also completed a fellowship in Emergency Ultrasound. After serving as Clerkship Director for the medical students at Highland, she transitioned to a full community practice at California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) in San Francisco, where she developed the emergency department Point-of-Care Ultrasound program over her 13 year tenure. She supervised the credentialing and QA processes, along with instructing at various hands-on sessions for ED and hospitalist providers, while also lecturing at various ED-sponsored Grand Rounds for the hospital. She now works full time at Kaiser San Rafael, where she also serves as an ED Ultrasound Champion, and instructs at regional POCUS conferences.
