Karin A. Fox, M.D., M.Ed., FACOG, FAIUM serves as Professor of Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Director of the Placenta Accreta Spectrum Disorders (PASD) Program at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She has been a Fellow of AIUM since 2020. Her clinical, research and board service centers on complex cesarean deliveries, PASD and medical education. Over the last decade, she has served on numerous committees and is a board member of the Pan-American Society for Placenta Accreta Spectrum, the International Society for Placenta Accreta Spectrum, and recently joined as Deputy Editor of Obstetrical Surgery for the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
