Oliver D. Kripfgans, PhD, is currently a Associate Professor with the Department of Radiology, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, USA, with adjunct appointments in the Applied Physics Program as well as the Department of Biomedical Engineering. Dr. Kripfgans is a member of the IEEE, and the Acoustical Society of America. He is a senior member, fellow and the current secretary of the American Institute for Ultrasound in Medicine. His current research is centered on 3-D color flow-based blood flow quantification and high-frequency periodontal imaging.
