This full-day session focuses on first-trimester ultrasound and placental evaluation—meaning we’ll be looking at early pregnancy. During the session, they will scan your abdomen using ultrasound to look at the baby’s anatomy and assess important structures. Instructors will guide the participants on how these scans are used in real-life medical settings and teach them how to get the best possible images.

In this session, medical professionals will use high-resolution ultrasound to scan your face and practice identifying different structures under the skin. This helps them learn how to evaluate facial anatomy, detect lumps and bumps, and identify signs of skin cancer, capillary issues, and other inflammatory skin conditions. In this session, medical professionals will use ultrasound to look at muscles, joints, and soft tissues in the body. They will practice identifying normal bone landmarks and soft tissue structures while learning how to properly position patients to get the best images. During the session, they may scan areas like your arms, legs, or other joints to improve their skills in capturing and interpreting ultrasound images.

In this hands-on ultrasound session, medical professionals will practice scanning the abdomen to assess the baby’s growth and position, check the placenta’s location, and measure amniotic fluid levels during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy. During the session, they will scan your abdomen using ultrasound to look at the baby’s anatomy and assess important structures. Instructors will guide the participants on how these scans are used in real-life medical settings and teach them how to get the best possible images.

In this hands-on ultrasound session, medical professionals will practice advanced fetal heart imaging techniques to assess the baby’s heart. They will learn how to optimize settings to get the best images, find key structures and understand how to properly position the ultrasound probe. During the session, will scan your abdomen to practice these techniques on the baby’s heart.

In this hands-on ultrasound session, medical professionals will learn how to assess fluid levels and evaluate volume status in critically ill patients. They will practice using the VExUS protocol to determine whether to give fluids or diuretics to the patient. During the session, they may scan your abdomen or chest to practice these techniques. Expert instructors will guide them through the scanning process and help them understand how to apply this important knowledge in emergency and critical care situations.

In this ultrasound session, Dr. Phillip Steele will guide medical professionals through the normal anatomy of the erector spinae muscles (the muscles along your spine). They will learn how to use ultrasound to assess these muscles for any issues or pathologies. During the session, they may scan your back to practice evaluating these muscles and identifying any abnormalities.
